From current lodge owners in need of extra safari vehicles, professionals from the film industry to the individual in need of a private (game viewing) vehicle, we cater for your needs. Our fleet consist of the best 4x4 vehicles in immaculate condition and our hires include transfers to and from Mfuwe International Airport or your lodge in the Luangwa Area.

Personal Touch Game Viewer vehicles
We work with fully serviced 4x4 Landrovers 110, 300 TDI, fully and comprehensive kitted to offer the serious Safari guest ample opportunity to experience a professional game drive in the bush. There is a convenient space for the guest’s binoculars and guide books and all our vehicles are fitted with 2-way radios, enabling radio contact with other safari vehicles or lodge establishments in case of an emergency. Our choice for four-wheel driven vehicles is for a reason. South Luangwa National Park can be an adventurous Safari in the “emerald” green season. Many roads become impassable and the black cotton soil makes even the best 4x4xfar have to battle. Experience in four-wheel driving is necessary before individuals can go on their self-drive-safari in the wet season.

Safari Industry
In peak season, established lodge owners can be faced with a shortage of game viewers to conduct their game activities with their guests. The Personal Touch has vehicles available finished to the highest standards to match the lodge fleet perfectly. Game viewers are available with an optional canopy, ideal for transfers to your bushcamps or all day drives. Long term agreements can be arranged.

Researchers and Film Crew
Whilst doing your research on Tsetse flies or making that beautiful documentary for National Geographic, it is very handy to have the logistics right here in the valley. Our vehicles can be customized being it open vehicles with extra camera stands, or closed vehicles with extra storage racks for all your research equipment, the choice is yours. Long term agreements as well as assistance in the shipping of equipment and finding the right accommodation can also be discussed.

The Individual Safari enthusiast
As more individuals are dreading the infamous Chipata - Mfuwe road, the need for quality vehicles on the doorstep of the National Park is much needed. No need to look any further, as we are right here!
Easy access to this remote area of Zambia is guaranteed by direct flights from Zambian Airways and The Personal Touch will arrange all your transfers to and from the Mfuwe International Airport. Within a short time you change your scenery from shopping in Lusaka to game driving in Mfuwe.
Should you be travelling in a big group and wanting to conduct your own drives, The Personal Touch can assist. Our cars seat up to nine persons enabling you to enjoy the drives with your complete party, ensuring nobody misses out on good sightings. A bonus for self drives is that there are no time restrictions and you can enter the park for the full twelve hours (06.00 -18.00).

Pricing, terms and conditions for the Individual Safari enthusiast
All our prices include transfers to and from Mfuwe International Airport and have no mileage restrictions! Optional guide services must be arranged upfront and subjected to availability. Fees are on request.

Payments
The Personal Touch ltd. reserves the right to amend the rates quoted. We reserve the right to substitute the vehicle with a comparable or superior vehicle. We will try our very best to replace a vehicle that has broken down and cannot be repaired within 24hrs. Any problems with the hire vehicle must be reported on the return of the vehicle. Payments must be made out to The Personal Touch ltd. Daily rates are cash on delivery of vehicle, weekly and monthly payments are to be as described below. A tax invoice will be submitted for each payment made. Renter is responsible for registration and payment of fees while entering the South Luangwa National Park and must obey all rules and regulations set out by ZAWA.

A minimum deposit of 25% is requested to confirm your booking. The balance is to be paid upon collection date of vehicle. A reservation confirmation will be sent to the client via e-mail once the deposit is received. Deposits can be paid by direct transfer or Visa card, details on application. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date. The Personal Touch Ltd. accepts Zambian Kwacha, US dollars and Euros. We are able to accept Visa Card, however please be aware that there is a 7% surcharge on all credit card payments. Cancellation Fee; A cancellation of any booking must be received in writing. The cancellation fees are described in our terms and conditions.
